So I’m at the end of full body 2.0 and the last 2 workouts I haven’t been feeling it. Today I did simple cardio and some high intensity cardio. Leaving the gym after this training session I haven’t felt that good post workout in awhile. Changing things up even just for a day may be the cure for the workout blues.
Allowing time off from the gym is actually a really freeing thing to do! If I ever feel like that I’ll take some time off, and after a few days I’m usually itching to get back in and lift heavy things 💪🏼
Two sides to this. First, if you’re not enjoying things long term then I’d look to change things up.
But if it’s more a transient emotional boredom thing I’d just focus on the process of getting in, doing the MINIMUM and getting out. Scaling back your workouts to one working set each exercise will be more than enough to Coast through these periods
