How long do the workouts take?

Workout duration may vary slightly based on experience level - but the average length to complete each workout is 45-60 minutes

Is this suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. This program is suitable for all training levels, from complete beginners to advanced lifters. Exercises, loads, and progressions adjust to meet you where you’re at.

Is this suitable for women?

Yes! This program is specifically designed for pregnant women and tailored to the demands of each trimester.

Is this safe during pregnancy?

Yes! Resistance training is extremely beneficial for both your health and your baby’s health. Current guidelines recommend that all pregnant women, including those new to strength training, accumulate 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week, including at least two resistance-training sessions.

If you do not have a medical contraindication to exercise, you do not require doctor’s clearance to begin.

If your healthcare provider has advised you of an absolute contraindication, you must follow their instructions. If you have a relative contraindication, your provider will guide you on any adjustments needed.

Always consult your healthcare team if you have any concerns.

What do I do after I finish the program?

The pregnancy program covers nearly your entire pregnancy up to Week 36. You do not need to stop training at this point. You can repeat the final mesocycle until your due date or return to the first mesocycle of Trimester Three.

If you need modifications, simply use the in-app swap feature. Our postpartum program is launching soon, giving you a clear plan for returning to training after your baby arrives.

What equipment do I need?

You’ll get the best experience with a barbell, dumbbells, weight plates, an adjustable bench, cables, and gym machines if you’re training in a commercial gym.

If you’re training at home, you can swap exercises to suit a well-equipped setup that includes a barbell, weight plates, dumbbells, an adjustable bench, resistance bands, and booty bands.
While the app allows for in-app exercise swaps, this is not a dumbbell-only program.

What if I can't do "Exercise XYZ"?

No problem, you can use the swap feature in the app. All swaps have been hand-picked to ensure they are appropriate and beneficial during pregnancy.

Can someone check my technique?

Yes! You can post as many videos as you like into our Technique Forum to get personalised help from our expert coaches
